You can counter this by stepping forward (for roomscale), or a quick press of the push button. Remember your real arm is connect to your body, so when swinging down, the distance your hand is forward of your body will naturally shorten. It is about the distance of an NPC’s body WIDTH, so not much, but do keep this in mind when trying to stab people with telekinesis. You DO have a small amount of control over pushing or pulling just using hand position without using the buttons. It will remain spinning until you hit both buttons again. Holding both buttons together will cause a weapon to spin (a fun way to attack NPC’s). This is because the push button will still push it slightly away from you. If an object is to your side and you want it in front of you, use the trigger first to bring it closer, tap the push button, then move it in front of you. If you have an object far in front of you and want it closer, simply hold the trigger, it’s fast enough. This works when moving an object vertically as well. You can then tap the trigger to slow it back down. But if you simply tap the push button, you will increase your force and be able to move it much faster. Rocks and barrels have weight and momentum. For example: if you pick up a rock to your right and try to move it to your left, you will notice a significant lag as it’s a pretty heavy object. Note that pressing the push button ALSO increases your force on an object, and using the trigger will decrease that force. For weapons, you can hold the trigger down all the way until it comes to your hand to then be used conventionally. You will use the trigger to bring the object closer to you and the menu button (on a vive wand) to push it further away.

Heavier objects will have some physics applied and be slower and have a bit of momentum. You can manipulate weapons in a horizontal or vertical plane pretty much 1 to 1, as in you move your hand and it moves with you.

Weapons will automatically “right” themselves when picked up to have the blade positioned as if you were holding it normally, then you can rotate however you want. Rotating your hand will rotate the object. Holding the grip button (or simply pressing it under default options) will allow you to pick the object up. If you extend your arm at an object or weapon/shield, you will see a circle appear. Telekinesis in Blade and Sorcery is actually a very complex and nuanced system, so I thought I’d create a guide to help anyone who may not be enjoying all the system has to offer. Hey guys! I’ve spent quite a bit of time messing with telekinesis in this game and have become a true believer in the system KospY has created.
